to attend to please (if you wish to of course) bring a
small snack (cookies, chips, etc.) or a drink for
everyone to share. We will handle the plates,
utensils, cups and napkins. We plan for the agenda to be very much like the previous PEG meetings: 1. We would like once again to discuss ideas for how PEG can be of service to you and specifically what we should work at for the next meeting. 2. Again, we would like to allow time for discussions with the group of issues or questions that you might have. It could be regarding a lesson from the Parent Seminar, or maybe there is a situation with your teenager that you would like the group to explore, or maybe you have a great idea or insight to share. This is our time and we are here to help and support each other. 3. I may again demonstrate a short lesson from Connie Dembrowsky's "Mastering Anger - Resolving Conflict" curriculum. We can discuss further if we would like to go forward with studying the full curriculum. 4. And finally, we should discuss among us options and locations for holding and hosting future PEG meetings For those of you on this distribution list who are outside of the geographic area, we want you to be included in what we are doing. I will again provide a summary of this meeting on the PEG page of the Affective Skills Web Site for you also to see and read. I sincerely hope you will be able to attend. I can't wait to see you again or to meet and talk with you for the first time. But if, by chance, you can't attend this meeting of PEG, we will continue to announce future meetings on e-mail, in Words of Caring and through the Affective Skills Web Site. Please feel free to come and join us at any time. You are always welcome. If you have any questions, please write back. If you do plan to come to the PEG meeting on May 23 could you drop a short message back to AffectiveSkill@aol.com confirming your plans to attend? This will help us with planning. Sincerely, John Borland |
