The June PEG Meeting is Confirmed
Hello Parents and Friends,

As promised here are the details for the next scheduled meeting of the Parent Exploratory Group (PEG).

The next meeting of PEG is confirmed for:

                   Date:    June 16, 2003
                   Time:    7:00 to 9:00 PM
                   Place:   Dauphin County Technical School Auditorium
                                          6001 Locust Lane
                                          Harrisburg

Meeting Details:

We plan for a very informal agenda much like the previous PEG meetings:

1. We would like to discuss our current projects as well as any new ideas for how PEG can be of service to you.

2. We would like to allow time for discussions with the group of issues or questions that you might have. It could be regarding a lesson from the Parent Seminar, or maybe there is a situation with your teenager or your family that you would like the group to explore, or maybe you have an insight you would like to share. This is our time and we are here to help and support each other.

3. I may demonstrate a new lesson regarding the nature of our relationships.

4. And finally, we should discuss among us options and locations for hosting future PEG meetings

Refreshments:

Let's not worry too much about food. We feel it is much more important that we get together and share with one another. However, if you wish, you may feel free to bring a snack item such as chips, pretzels, cookies, a drink, etc., for all of us to share. Judy and I can handle the plates, utensils, cups and napkins.

Meeting Summary:

For those of you on this distribution list who are outside of the geographic area, we very much want you to be included in what we are doing. I will again provide a summary of this meeting on the PEG page of the Affective Skills Web Site for you also to see and read.

You Are Always Welcome:

We sincerely hope you will be able to attend. We can't wait to see you again or to meet and talk with you for the first time. But if, by chance, you cannot attend this meeting of PEG, we will continue to announce future meetings on e-mail, in Words of Caring and through the Affective Skills Web Site. Please feel free to come and join us at any time. You are always welcome.
