I can advise in this event. Be sure to RSVP if you are planning to attend. See below.). We are requesting anyone who plans to attend to please (if you wish to of course) bring a side item such as chips, pretzels, a salad, a dessert, a drink, etc. for us to share. We (Judy and I) can handle the plates, utensils, cups and napkins. Meeting Details: We plan for the agenda to be very much like the previous PEG meetings: 1. We would like to discuss our current projects as well as any new ideas for how PEG can be of service to you. 2. We would like to allow time for discussions with the group of issues or questions that you might have. It could be regarding a lesson from the Parent Seminar, or maybe there is a situation with your teenager that you would like the group to explore, or maybe you have an insight you would like to share. This is our time and we are here to help and support each other. 3. I may demonstrate a short lesson from Connie Dembrowsky's "Mastering Anger - Resolving Conflict" curriculum. 4. And finally, we should discuss among us options and locations for holding and hosting future PEG meetings. For those of you on this distribution list who are outside of the geographic area, we want you to be included in what we are doing. I will again provide a summary of this meeting on the PEG page of the Affective Skills Web Site for you also to see and read. I sincerely hope you will be able to attend. I can't wait to see you again or to meet and talk with you for the first time. But if, by chance, you can't attend this meeting of PEG, we will continue to announce future meetings on e -mail, in Words Caring and through the Affective Skills Web Site. Please feel free to come and join us at any time. You are always welcome. If you have any questions, please write back. RSVP: If you do plan to come to the PEG meeting on July 11 could you drop a short message back to AffectiveSkill@aol.com by Monday July 8 confirming your plans to attend? This will help us with planning and especially with the food. Sincerely, John Borland |
