Details Regarding the October PEG Meeting
Hello Parents and Friends,

As promised here are the details for the next scheduled meeting of the Parent Exploratory Group (PEG).

The October meeting of PEG is confirmed for:

                   Date:    October 1, 2002
                   Time:    6:30 to 8:00 PM
                   Place:   The home of Ed and Barb Corriveau
                                          7 Banbury Road
                                          Hummelstown

Directions:

The directions are as follows:

From Harrisburg Area:

- From the intersection with Route 22 and Route 39, travel East on Route 39 for 1.6 miles to the intersection of Route 39
and Red Top Road at BLACKIES NURSERY.

- Turn Right at BLACKIES NURSERY onto Red Top Road.

- Travel 1.1 miles on Red Top Road to Banbury Road on your right (Look for the large, decorative sign on the right
announcing Banbury Road).

- The Corriveau home is the third on the left, # 7.

From Hershey Area:

- From the intersection of Hersheypark Drive and Route 39, travel West on Route 39 for 2.8 miles to the intersection of
Route 39 and Red Top Road at BLACKIES NURSERY (Look for the yellow left-hand T sign on Route 39 just before this
intersection).

- Turn Left at BLACKIES NURSERY onto Red Top Road.

- Travel 1.1 miles on Red Top Road to Banbury Road on your right (Look for the large, decorative sign on the right
announcing Banbury Road).

- The Corriveau home is the third on the left, # 7.

Refreshments:

We are requesting anyone who plans to attend to please (if you wish to of course) bring a side item such as chips, pretzels, cookies, a drink, etc., for all of us to share. We (Judy and I) can handle the plates, utensils, cups and napkins.

Meeting Details:

We plan for the agenda to be very much like the previous PEG meetings:

1. We would like to discuss our current projects as well as any new ideas for how PEG can be of service to you.

2. We would like to allow time for discussions with the group of issues or questions that you might have. It could be regarding a lesson from the Parent Seminar, or maybe there is a situation with your teenager that you would like the group to explore, or maybe you have an insight you would like to share. This is our time and we are here to help and support each other.

3. I may demonstrate a new lesson I have recently come upon regarding the nature of our relationships.

4. And finally, we should discuss among us options and locations for holding and hosting future PEG meetings.

For those of you on this distribution list who are outside of the geographic area, we want you to be included in what we are doing. I will again provide a summary of this meeting on the PEG page of the Affective Skills Web Site for you also to see and read.

I sincerely hope you will be able to attend. I can't wait to see you again or to meet and talk with you for the first time. But if, by chance, you can't attend this meeting of PEG, we will continue to announce future meetings on e -mail, in Words Caring and through the Affective Skills Web Site. Please feel free to come and join us at any time. You are always welcome.
